Specialist Training Options
Yachtmaster Specialist Training (1-2 Days)
For those preparing for their RYA Yachtmaster exam, this course provides targeted training to strengthen your weak areas and familiarise you with the local waters. Experience and skills are essential components of this preparation.
- Focus on boat handling, pilotage, tides, and navigation
- Train in harbours and rivers frequently used for exams
- Personalised 1-2 day training tailored to your skill level
- Limited to 2 students per session for maximum hands-on experience

Boat Handling & Confidence Training (1 Day)
Being able to confidently manoeuvre your boat in all conditions is key to safe and enjoyable cruising. This course focuses on practical boat-handling techniques to improve your control in a variety of situations, ensuring you gain essential skills and experience.
- Mooring to a tidal berth
- Ferry gliding techniques
- Wind-on and wind-off berthing
- Effective use of forward and back springs
- Anchoring and manoeuvring in restricted areas
- Making the boat stand still in varying conditions
